Rainbow Races

Our third annual Rainbow Races regatta took place at The Royal Albert Docks on Saturday 23rd November, in support of Stonewall Rainbow Laces. The campaign helps break down homophobia, biphobia and transphobia in sports by supporting LGBT equality and ensuring sport is everyone’s game.

Many of our boats feature rainbow laces, and competitors also wore different coloured t-shirts, so each boat of 8 rowers represented a full rainbow flag. Several heats were held throughout the day, culminating with a final race.

We’d like to extend a special thanks to those rowers from other local clubs, and congratulate all who participated in the event.
