On Sunday 24 April the Otters competed in their first regatta of 2022 on the beautiful Lea river in Hackney.

It was a gorgeous Spring day for quite an eventful Sunday of racing.

All crews rowed very well and the Novices really enjoyed their first experience in side-by-side racing. A big shoutout to the double crew of Neil D. and David Z., who beat the University of Kent in their heat and the pair crew of Tom W. and Tibor L. who won a pot in their final.

The Otters certainly did make a big splash at Lea, especially Captain Brian in the single scull!
